Friends of Bolin Creek elected our new Board of Directors and Conservation Committee members and celebrated with a release of Monarch butterflies on Friday, September 9th at Umstead Park along Bolin Creek. Xilong Zhao gave each of us a newly hatched butterfly to release.
By adopting a work plan, we committed to continue to advocate for the good health of the Bolin Creek watershed, and especially the Bolin Creek Natural Area. A healthy Bolin Creek means improved water quality and a safe home for the wildlife that depend on it.
