What can you do to keep the Bolin Creek unpaved?
- Tell your friends, neighbors, and family that this discussion about paving Bolin Creek will be held sometime in the new year, and there will be opportunities to have your voice heard. Please speak up!
- Ask them to sign our online petition that has collected 1500 signatures since this proposal was made and then read even more about the issue at bolincreek.org. See our map of many connections in the Upper Bolin Creek Watershed.
- Contact Carrboro Town Council members and Carrboro Town staff and ask them to revise plans for Bolin Forest and Bolin Creek and to rely on credible scientific information rather than speculative hopes for increased bicycle ridership.
- Then write emails and/or letters to Carrboro Town Council members and Carrboro Town Manager Richard White in support of keeping one of North Carolina’s largest intact urban forests intact.
- Post on social media of your desire to keep Bolin Forest natural for future generations to enjoy. See documentary.
