The Town of Carrboro faces special budget challenges this year thanks to Hurricane Chantal. Friends of Bolin Creek seeks a healthy waterway, with invasive species removed and natives planted along Bolin Creek. The Manager’s budget, a draft until it is reviewed and approved, recommends $400,000 in one of three installments to pay for engineering design for a 2-mile paved greenway.
