Streambank Repair Workshop

Mitch Woodard, NC State Extension, Friends of Bolin Creek, and Urban Sustainability Solutions will be hosting.
Attendees will learn how to protect and improve the natural environment of streams by stabilizing a streambank. NC State University and other local experts will provide practical, cost-effective solutions using natural materials and native plants to create healthy, stable streambanks and repair small scale repairs. You will receive hands-on instruction covering streambank repair using natural materials and native live stakes and plants.
This is a free workshop but registration is required so that we know how many are coming. This is a stream-side, hands-on, 3 hour workshop.
NOTE: There will not be any classroom instruction or certification option provided. You are welcome to pack your own snacks and drinks.
