Please join us for a vigil and memorial service for our beloved trees of Bolin Forest. The cutting has begun and soon it is expected that up to 40 acres of trees will be cleared. We will gather at 4:00 pm, on Sunday, Dec. 2nd, in the auditorium of Smith Middle School for the sharing of memories of the woods and the many animals and critters that have lived there. This is to be a healing experience as we express our joy and now sadness for the forest. We will share memories from 4:00-5:00 pm.
We will then move outside for a candlelight/flashlight walk into the nearby woods adjacent to Seawell Elementary School to share a time of silence in the woods together.
