Streambank Repair Workshop<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\nBolin Forest, Specific Site TBA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mitch Woodard, NC State Extension, Friends of Bolin Creek, and Urban Sustainability Solutions will be hosting.<\/p>\n

Attendees will learn how to protect and improve the natural environment of streams by stabilizing a streambank. NC State University and other local experts will provide practical, cost-effective solutions using natural materials and native plants to create healthy, stable streambanks and repair small scale repairs. You will receive hands-on instruction covering streambank repair using natural\u00a0materials and native live stakes and plants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a free workshop but registration is required so that we know how many are coming.\u00a0 This is a stream-side, hands-on, 3 hour workshop.<\/p>\n

NOTE: There will not be any classroom instruction or certification option provided. You are welcome to pack your\u00a0own snacks and drinks.<\/em><\/p>\n
