WILDFLOWERS CALENDAR
Wildflowers begin blooming along Bolin Creek in early March, and continue blooming until November. To help you identify wildflowers that are currently blooming, we are starting a new feature - a Wildflower Calendar. Every two weeks we will show a sets of flowers that you are most likely to see along the creek.

CLICK HERE FOR THE WILDFLOWER ARCHIVE
Our archive of wildflowers is also available. In this way we hope to construct a calendar of Bolin Creek Wildflowers organized by the date when they appear. The collection will accumulate during the year, providing a reference for you to visit in order to help identify the wildflowers you see on your walks. Species which continue to bloom for an extended period, such as daisy fleabane, will be shown when they first bloom, but not on successive weeks.
BOLIN CREEK PHOTO CONTEST
We have started a photo contest so everyone can help us celebrate life in the Bolin Creek Corridor. Pictures of the creek, people enjoying the creek corridor, or the myriad of other denizens of nature that are part of the Bolin Creek ecology are welcomed. We will select the best pictures submitted for display. Email your entries to: info@bolincreek.org. Be sure to include your name email address. Below is our first winner.
