Blue Bird

Bird Walk in Bolin Forest
8 am, Saturday, January 22nd

Greet the new year with Cynthia Fox, of Chapel Hill’s Wild Bird Center, for an early January walk through the Bolin Creek winter woods. Listen and learn to recognize many bird songs, spot the songsters and identify them. This is an opportunity to learn more about birding, if this is a new venture for you, or to interact with fellow birders. Children are welcome to join if they are 8 years old or older, and accompanied by a registered adult. Please dress for the weather and bring binoculars.

Meet in on Cobblestone Drive in Carrboro, a few minutes before 8 am. For more information, contact friendsbolincreek@gmail.com.

Directions: Drive north on Greensboro, turn right on Parkview, left on Pathway and right on Cobblestone.  Park near intersection with Rock Garden Rd.
